Orbikel Privacy Policy

Orbikel is a productivity application that may include planning, budgeting, habits, to-dos, work tools, utilities, account sync, and subscription features. By using Orbikel, you agree that your information may be processed as described below.

1. Information Orbikel may collect

Account information

Email address, display name, authentication session data, and account settings used to sign in and keep your account connected across devices.

User-created content

To-dos, projects, habits, budget entries, work items, plant progress, notes, preferences, and any other information you create or save in the app.

Attachments and uploads

If you choose to attach images to tasks, Orbikel may upload those images and related metadata to cloud storage so they can sync across your devices.

Subscription and billing status

Product, entitlement, and subscription state needed to manage premium access. Orbikel does not receive your full bank card details from Google Play or the App Store.

App activity and diagnostics

Limited analytics or event data such as paywall actions, restore taps, or sync-related events may be recorded to improve app quality and support.

Device and technical information

Technical details required for secure sessions, app compatibility, and syncing, such as timestamps, platform details, or network-related metadata.

2. How Orbikel uses your information

To create and manage your account.
To sync your data across your signed-in devices.
To save and restore your productivity content, preferences, and attachments.
To provide subscription features and verify plan access.
To respond to support issues and account requests.
To diagnose bugs, improve stability, and understand product usage at a high level.
To comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and protect users and services.

3. Services and processors

Orbikel may use service providers to operate the app, including services for:

Authentication, database, storage, and sync through Supabase infrastructure.
Subscription management through RevenueCat and the mobile platform billing providers.
Platform services required for secure app operation, app updates, and device features.

These providers may process data on Orbikel's behalf to deliver core app functionality. Orbikel does not sell personal information to data brokers.

4. Permissions and device access

Orbikel requests certain permissions only when a related feature is used. Not every user will see every permission prompt.

Photos / media library: used when you choose to pick an image from your device and attach it to a task.
Device motion / sensors: some utilities such as level or compass features may request optional sensor access where supported by the device and platform.
Internet / network access: used for account sign-in, sync, cloud storage, live utility data, and subscription status.

In the current Android app setup, camera and microphone permissions are not part of the main mobile app permission request flow.

5. Data storage and security

User data sent from the app is intended to be encrypted in transit.
Session and local app data may also be stored on-device to support sign-in and offline-friendly usage.
While Orbikel uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Account deletion and retention

You can request deletion of your account and associated app data by following the instructions on the Delete Account page.

Orbikel may retain limited information when necessary for:

billing, tax, or financial recordkeeping obligations,
security, fraud prevention, or abuse investigations,
legal compliance or dispute handling, and
short operational backup or recovery windows.

7. Children's privacy

Orbikel is not designed primarily for young children. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact Orbikel support so the issue can be reviewed.
